Orioles have lost 10 consecutive playoff games. 6 of those have been to the Royals.
I haven’t been keeping up with baseball unfortunately for the last few years, but did they get rid of the single game wildcard match?
Baltimore and Kansas City only have football and baseball teams. The Ravens and Orioles have had both of their seasons end in the playoffs by a loss to the team from Kansas City this year.
Question: With the recent increased value of walks when compared to batting average, are we under valuing the chaos that happens when a ball is put into play?
I saw a post recently about Soto having close to as many walks as Ichiro and while Ichiro did not walk I feel that there is value in having a ball put into play.
If the Brewers win game 3, I will have picked every WC winner correctly and not bet a god damn thing on it.
Shout out to the Mets-Brewers For at least making it a series.
