Los Angeles Dodgers Pitching, Offense & Fan Behavior: A Triple Whammy of a Loss

The Los Angeles Dodgers faced a tough 10-2 loss against the San Diego Padres in Game 2 of their playoff series, with the Padres launching six home runs. Can the Dodgers bounce back in this high-stakes matchup? Jack Flaherty’s performance was under scrutiny as he allowed four runs over 5 1/3 innings, a typical outing since joining the Dodgers. Concerns rise as Freddie Freeman exits early with ankle discomfort, adding to the team’s offensive struggles. The Dodgers’ lineup, especially the top order, needs to ignite to keep their playoff hopes alive. As the series shifts to San Diego, all eyes are on Michael King and Walker Buehler in Game 3.

Tune in to explore the Dodgers’ challenges and strategies as they aim to turn the series around.

  1. That catch by Profar and the line drive double play changed the game completely. Has to use the low leverage relievers because not worth using up the BP again given we will need them in SD. We are always behind right from the start. Othani , Betts, et al did 2 today. Tatis and Machado fuel the SD passion. Call it what you want but it makes the Dodgers look lifeless.

  2. Roberts need to go watch what the Tigers are doing with their pitching rotation, and understand that it's OK to deviate from the stock standard "starter" method, by throwing, literally, a reliever to start the game, and mixing it up like that. It's the post-season!!!!
We need to mix it up!!!! He still hasn't learned, AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!!!!!
It's so frustrating watching him get confused on his pitching selections, getting to be really annoying

  3. Honestly stumble into this channel and thought it was going to be a good podcast to see how 2 dodger fans would analyze the game . But instead gentlemen on the left all he did was talk shit about the other team players like if he had some beef to settle with them lol I was expecting more of a professionalism since both of you mention you been doing this for years . All I heard from that person was just excuses and crying about how the other team players are cry babies and etc etc .

  4. Bad starting pitching Flagerthy /Yanamoto, and closers patetic job, Banda, Brasier/ Enríquez, terrible. Othani, Betts, Freeman, Smith, Lux,Edman, Rojas, bad performance, terrible. Imposible win to padres.
    Roberts patetic…

  5. Dodgers came in as underdogs with their starting pitching. Fully expected it to go to five games, so let’s get two more. One loss is expected….. let’s embarrass them in San Diego!

  6. In support of Jeff, Profar is a bad defender. A quick search would show you that. He has made a couple good plays against the Dodgers but it is what it is.

  7. LA just proved that it's trash. The street? Homeless, crap, and trash. Fanbase? Definitely trash just like the city. Keep it classh LA 😅🎉

  8. I'm not a fan of anyone throwing stuff onto the field or let alone at someone. If anything, Dodger fans should be throwing stuff at their players for bad performance. It's so embarrassing as a Dodger fan to see this. Things do not always go your way, but there is no need for that stuff.
