  1. A win is win but an embarrassing one for the oilers. Flyers are in a rebuild and they took you to OT? With the almighty McChrist and Drysucker? Good lord.

  2. Would’ve been crazy if the Oilers went 0-4 at home. Well, last time they had a poor start to the season, they almost win the damn cup, so maybe this won’t be so bad for them

  3. there's one thing McDavid has to work on in the breakaway and that's to not shoot it low on backhand he needs to lift the puck so the goalie can't save it with their pads

  4. Beautiful play by McDavid to get his stick under the Flyer's skate and then take the puck for a breakaway. That's why he's the top dog in the NHL. He knows how to get things done without getting a call. NHL must be so proud to have guys like him, Marchand, and Crosby be the guys they show to the world. So proud…

  5. Me German πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ, I don’t find the right words to describe how happy I feel for Leon and the Oilers! Great job the whole team and outstanding performance over the whole season by my man Leon Draisaitl! Hau rein, KΓΆlle Allaaf!

  6. How lucky is McDavid to get the puck back in the corner?

He throws a completely ridiculous backhand saucer to the front of the net after he misses the breakaway.

Bouchard would have had no chance to make a play on that puck, and it hits the d-man's skate and goes right back to McDavid, who has all the time in the world to put it on a platter for Draisaitl.

I hate that play – the quick throw in front as you are heading behind the net. It so rarely results in anything good for you unless there is a total logjam in front – which is never the case in an overtime scenario.

Possess the puck, find the right pass. Instead he just chucks it in front and gets lucky that it comes right back.
