  1. Jeter has always said the best team doesn't win. The hottest team wins. And right now the Dodgers are the hottest team and seem to definitley be the best team. Jeter is also correct, of course, when he has said when a team is losing it looks like they aren't trying. The Yankees are trying, right now they are just slumping and that's what happens in baseball. To me the worst thing that can happen out of all this (in additon to losing the World Series) is Soto might decide if the Yankees are this bad in the playoffs he might say, "See ya!" and sign with the Mets. I'm still hoping for a Yankee miracle comeback – as unlikley as it seems. But, my final sentiment, replace Aaron Boone.

  2. Jeter( though not my fav Yankee) and them boyz in 09 played with Heart ,Soul and Gutz. '24 Yankees calling out Judge' the team MVP if not the league MVP is soft. Quite disappointing for a team that was like tops in AL in so many offensive categories to go down impotent. They are AL Bullies beating on weak teams like the Royals and the Indians all year and in Playoffs but going into a state of cowardice vs the Dodgers SMH Really! This ain't YANKEE Baseball and I feel kind a strange wearing the Yankee cap because they are Reppin' NYC weak,soft and like PUSSY Cat purrrring softly into the night.   8. Judge should give up his team captaincy. He’s an embarrassment, Gehrig, Munson and Jeter were World Series who each stepped us in the clutch. Judge “spit the bit”. He cost us big-time. He can hit his next homers in April 2025 against Minnesota. What a choke job

  15. Yankees arent getting to another WS this easily like they did this season…. when the going gets tough they get shut down like a bad habit… every post season since Judge's rookie season. I am reminded of the beating they took vs. HOuston 2 years ago…. ZERO resistance… they couldnt hit quality pitching enough.

Also, I don’t wanna sound like a sore loser or a conspiracy theorist, but I can’t help but leaning to the theories going around on TikTok about the Yankees allegedly deliberately throwing these games away due to ties to sports betting. It’s not so far-fetched when you look at the fact that Jay Groom from the padres ,Michael Kelly of the Oakland Athletics; Jose Rodriguez of the Philadelphia Phillies; and Andrew Saalfrank of the Arizona Diamondbacks—were all suspended for a year for sports betting violations. I’m sorry, but how do you get this far in the postseason & literally this the World Series and play this horrible?! the plays are sloppy it’s almost laughable. Even when you compare the statistics of the LA Dodgers versus the New York Yankees players, it doesn’t add up stats wise did Yankees to get swept. How could you not think that this isn’t being done deliberately? Honestly, there needs to be an ethics and internal investigation immediately.

    On another note, as great as judge is during the regular season he is that bad in the playoffs. He is not a captain, that was another mistake, in my humble opinion

  26. Hernandez and Edman have been clutch. They help anchor the Dodger's line up. both guys have been hitting over 300 in the last two series. I'll take guys like them over sluggers any day. Not enough credit is given to guys who hit for average these days. They are a big reason that the Dodgers are making this run. As a Phillies fan I would love to have two guys who just put the damn ball in play in the playoffs. I am so tired of the true three outcome hitter. The 2014 and 2015 Royals were a breath of fresh air.

  27. At the end of the day the Yankees season was all about Soto and Judge the rest of the lineup barely hit all season. Some flashes from volpe and wells here and there but Verdugo struggled, Jazz gave us some flash because Third base and First base where holes, but even he slowed down. Judge not hitting at all has sunk this ship. Without Judge this lineup was weak and unfortunately Judge didn’t show up. I’m worried he is going to bring this back with him next year.

  30. HAL until when do we hace to keep BOONE and CASHMAN in there position. Is not more then a decade enough for the YANKEE fans. This SHT would no be happening with the old man there. When are the FANS going to wake up and BOICOT you and the AH'S you got there. It's a embarrassing situation for the loyal FANS that this is going on. But you don't care as long as you fill the ballpark. Since 2009 i stop being a YANKEE fan, will come back when you get your SHT together.

  35. See… I wouldn’t be mad if Yankees were trying and the dodgers just kept beating us… like cool they’re the better team whatever. BUT THATS NOT WHATS HAPPENING AT ALL. THEYRE JUST LYING DOWN. I knew from the day we traded for Soto we still wouldnt have the chance. Soto is definitely a Met this coming offseason. We need to fire boone. Get some actual lineup depth.

  37. lol they all look scared except for Soto, and Cole. They all have World Series experience. Stanton is the only one that’s playing with experience when it’s his first time. Why do you think Rodon gave up runs in game 2, why you think majority of them can’t produce any legit offense. They look scared being here. Only offense of them is getting balls, and lucky hits

  40. This is my honest opinion. Judge in the future needs to be dropped down to 6 or 7 in the lineup going forward. This team has the potential to go to the playoffs and hopefully the World Series again but the Yankees can’t rely on Judge. He’s lost at the plate.

  44. Yankee fan here …they are not even on the same level as the dodgers. It’s clear now. They made the World Series because the American League was weak and now they are playing a real playoff team.

  48. Down the 0-3. Ortiz is in the middle laughing on the inside . Because his Red Sox team is the only team to do that against the Yanks, the 2-dudes on each side of him were on that team.
