The Harsh Reality Of The New York Yankees…

The New York Yankees are in a BAD Spot after losing the 2024 World Series to the Los Angeles Dodgers in MLB (Major League Baseball) and the reality is, it’s not getting much better anytime soon. Aaron Judge struggled throughout the postseason, even if his MLB Highlights and Home runs were some of the best in baseball, and Juan Soto is now a free agent, and he will be the best of the top 50 free agents in MLB. His skill set makes predicting where this free agent will go is insane. The New York Yankees are not the same as they were in the early 2000s when they had superstars like Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez and after the quotes from players like Shohei Ohtani and Mookie Betts, the Dodgers clearly didn’t believe that the Yankees are in a good organizational situation. Let’s see how the Yankees are in Trouble Or Not!

  4. If the Yankees keep Cashman and Boone after getting embarrassed in the World Series for everyone to watch then they deserve everything that's coming to them. This era of Yankees players are a bunch of loser with the exception of Rizzo and Soto, since they won it all before.

  5. Dodgers scouting report in a nutshell:

    Make enough contact, and hustle and they will implode(Seriously). It’s hard to say a WS team sucked, but they were NOT good. Their fielding and base running fundamentals are non existent. While the Dodgers Played nearly perfect the entire Post season. And watch out. They did all this at about 65% power. The Yanks didn’t look good in the regular season series they played either.

  6. Hi, Yankees fan here. You were right on the money in this entire assessment. I'm thankful I got to see some wonderful championship wins. 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2009. The Yankees today are not the Yankees of yesteryear and I'm just ready to accept they're gonna be stuck at 27 titles for a very long time to come. Maybe a pennant or two but that trophy won't be in the Bronx for a long time.

  7. I don't know if you're making this video to flex when they win, but the whole thing with baseball is it's unpredictable. They look bleek now, but things can change very fast. Mookie Betts used to have a rep of being bad in the postseason, and then he went off and did great this year! Judge could have a great postseason next year, they could pick someone up that you'd never expect and do great! If the best team was guaranteed a win every year they would, but they don't! I know it's easy to say they suck right now, and they do but things can change, there's a whole new season!

  9. Yankees fan here realisticly the whole playoffs was not a real path to a world series are we were exposed altough Ohtani and betts and most of the dodgers hitting was not that good it is polar opposite compared to 2017 when we acually hustled and played good complementary baseball.

  13. Powerful and Talent is great but without solid fundamentals you can't become World Series Champions and the NYY is the perfect example! Plus does not help when the NYY manager is too much of a buddy-buddy with his players

    Judge can def use batting practice (yeti probably cant hit as good) and yeah we all drop here and there

  24. My beloved Yankees are a flawed roster that is poorly managed, simple as that. Had just enough talent and luck to get to the WS against semi-weak competition, then met a great team that was able to exploit their flaws. AND the Dodgers made their own boneheaded mistakes and still won in 5.

  26. Judge seems to be more attacked but I feel Cole having forgotten the cover is worse and could have saved the game. Like Yamamoto repeatedly having covered the first base without fail.

  27. First off I am not a Yankee fan so this is an independent observer’s opinion….. The first thing the Yankees should do is get rid of Boone. He’s not a good manager and the Yankees play like he manages lack of days ago too laid-back and they almost seem like they don’t care at times I would do is don’t resign Juan Soto yes I said do not resign him, I don’t think he’s a good team player. I don’t care that the Yankees got to the World Series this year. The Padres had a better record this year without Soto than they had last year with him raves about this guy and it’s because of his numbers, but the first words out of his mouth after the Yankees lost tragically in the World Series to the Dodgers. He didn’t say look we just lost a series. This last last was horrible. I need to get my thoughts together. I need some time to think about things, no he didn’t do that his answer was complete selfishness. He is the epitome of a mercenary and I would not want him on my team. I don’t care how good his statistics are. You can’t just buy good players they have to fit into your system and you need to do that so what this guy said on here I’m not gonna talk about Steinbrenner. I’m gonna say if Joe Torre was the manager, the Yankees would not be playing like this……. Boone is too soft does not stress fundamentals and the little things that really matter especially when you’re playing a team that has just as much talent as you do if not more talent, he’s too laid-back too unemotional…… And certainly not a motivator

  31. It's not because Jazz isn't a 3rd baseman. Any player could scoop it up no matter what position they play. The Dodgers explicitly talked about how bad Jazz is and proved it correct.

As an Orioles fan, let me add that the Yankees weren't even the best team in the division, but only finished first (by a mere three games, btw) because the O's were decimated with injuries, including to some key players.
