   Here's an example (One of MANY):

   Couple of years ago, when the new TV deal was finalized, EACH TEAM got 60 million dollars. This is above and beyond the revenue that is generated annually by tickets, beers, parking and merchandise.

   What this means is – any team that had a payroll for the next year of LESS than 60 million was pocketing the cash.
