  1. Outside looking in, Dodgers not only looking for great players, but with good fundamentals, coachable, but having a good fit with the team, with a low ego personality. Looking forward to next year.

  2. Dodgers Fan: "I drink the tears of 29 fanbases."
Did you guys really think we (Dodgers fans) were going to go "water under the bridge" for all those years of playoff chokers comments?

  3. This fool is so out of touch with reality.
It helps to have a 25 Year $8 billion dollar TV deal. It kills me when Dodger fans say “tell your owner to spend” when a TV deal alone pays for their payroll.

  4. only people to defend this are dodger fans. I don't want to hear about how my team should spend money, LA has massive amounts of appeal and completely overshadows essentially every other team looking for free agents. If winning is all that matters, then players will flock to LA. location and organization history have a lot of influence, and even if small market teams were to offer snell the same amount, he wouldn't take it. Why would he play in cleveland or detroit? Yes, there needs to be a salary floor, but the deferrals and all of that is getting out of hand. Money has been deferred in the past for griffey, bonilla, etc but it was only on those single players. Dodgers are essentially deferring entire payrolls, wouldn't surprise me if by the end of this offseason they have over a billion in deferred payments

  5. Stop being optimistic and saying “oh and every team can do it like they can” look at the tv market and what the dodgers make compared to a team like the padres. MLB unlike every other sport, does not share tv contract money making it literally impossible for most teams to sign players like LA. Trying to compare LA and SD when it comes to signing players because simply “we have the same chance” might be the most dumb thing ive heard on this channel

  6. If you want to pay for players I'm fine with that but the deferred money is my issue. #1 That is not the reason deferrals exists they are supposed to be for things like players who get injured and can't play on a big contract etc. #2 This seems all well and good right now but this could quite literally bankrupt teams and even the league. In 9 more years the Dodgers will have over $100M (so far) being paid to players who are no longer playing for them and that's before their current players at that time or any other deferred money. They could be in a situation where they will have so much deferred money that signing a guy to play for the league minimum would put them over the CBT. This is NOT a good long term thing for the Dodgers or for the rest of baseball.
My feelings are they will try to get MLB to push through something (in the next 9 years) that says something like deferred money doesn't count towards the CBT which would be like breaking the law and then getting 6 of 9 of your friends to say your immune from prosecution… What too soon?…
Deferred money could very well end MLB if it gets out of control and the Dodgers are like hold my beer and try to stop me.

  7. Fans before 2024 WS- “Dodgers always choke, only a micky mouse ring, eliminated by the NLDS.”
After the 2024 WS- “it’s not fair, they shouldn’t be able to defer money like this!”

  8. Snell is a two-time Cy Young award winner… but his control is shaky and he's never come close to 200 innings… we Dodger fans can all hope he is well. He finally pitched a complete game last year, but it took him throwing a no-hitter to do it.

  9. “JuSt sIGn tHE pLaYeRS fRoM the dOdGers” is such a dumb comment. Like yea dude no one else in the league tried to get the best FA such Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, Snell, Ohtani, Yamamoto and more. Of course these other owners are giving contracts offers but the Dodgers are just going to keep outbidding them and deferring the money. Like is Blake Snell really worth $180 million over 5 years? At this point they are just getting players just so they don’t have to face them. If your solution is “spend more money than the Dodgers” then MLB is going to die and some international league will take over. No one wants to watch an uncompetitive league.

  10. The Dodgers are playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers. Adding Blake Snell to that rotation is just insane. Love or hate them, you can’t deny their commitment to winning. 👏🔥

  11. Cry about it is all I gotta say. We got robbed of 2ws and were saved from the worst management in mlb history. It should’ve always been this way thank GOD for Andrew Friedman

  12. As a Yankees' fan for my entire five decades of life, I find it hilarious the Dodgers have become the Evil Empire of baseball. Of course, people who know nothing will claim otherwise.
