Been calling for this since the Jordan Poole trade. We gave up on guy who was averaging 20 points because he had one bad playoff run and then just like never replaced him. I still don’t get what that strategy was. I understand the team chemistry was off after the punch. But the fact that there was no attempt to replace him was just bizzare.
Idc what you think about their defense, this team needs Coby White or Cam Thomas kind of player. No one can even put the ball inside the basket when Steph gets cold.
People who knew this was an issue for months got nothing but “wHoS aVAiLaBlE” as an answer when this was brought up
Fucking Dennis Schroeder wouldve sufficed. LITERALLY ANYONE WHO CAN CREATE A JUMPSHOT
I might get downvoted but if I’m MDJ I’d call up the clippers and see what it would take to get Norman. Very reasonable contract also nothing too crazy
So many problems get fixed with a real second option
1. you get rid of low IQ players with a trade
2. you augment the overall scoring
3. curry has more space to hit shots
We need a good replacement for melton
The problem isn’t a lack of a 2nd option. The problem is we don’t have a pg off the bench who can both score and playmake. All the best warriors teams (that didn’t involve fucking KD) had this
