Dante Fabbro stats this year. Nashville in a Nutshell.

Last Wednesday I got to see the jacket canadiens game, and saw his stats and had this same “wtf” thought
Preds and Titans are the same franchise in different sports
When we first started bringing Fabbro up a lot of people expected him to become a big name in the league, some people even saying things like he would be the next Shea Weber. That always felt like wishful thinking but I never understood how he dropped so far off from those expectations. He was never really bad for us, imo, but was also not “great” here. I dont really get what the deal is, just the style of hockey we play? Not wanting to live/play in Nashville? If the latter why not ask for a trade, is there some stigma around doing so?
This sub has just devolved into posting traded players stats
Perhaps he just wanted out. He’d never be first line D as long as Josi is here (although was paired with him for a hot second). Never was going to get the minutes to be in the flow of a game.
Thank God you posted this. It was very much needed.
So why don’t you go follow him in Columbus? Plenty of good seats still available.
He’s not coming back no matter how much we wallow and weep and wail and gnash our teeth about it.
I swear y’all are acting like the Preds org told him to NOT score goals while he was here.
Last season Fabbro played 56 games – 628.14 minutes – with Roman Josi on the top line. He had 3 goals.
His scoring is not suddenly evidence of unlocked potential now that he’s gone. It would simply be impossible for a man to play with Josi that much and suppress your goal scoring ability.
I’ve been a stan for Fabbro for a while but let’s not act like he’s suddenly a top line defender. Yes, he got the Tolvanen treatment where the organization prioritized proven talent over developing younger players. But his success now really tells no story at all, outside of the fact that he’s probably fighting for his NHL career right now. Being healthy scratched and waived after 325 games played is not a good look.
Jesus Christ I’m gonna have to leave this sub lol, I’ve heard Fabbro’s name more than I ever did in the years leading up to this one. I forgot he was the second coming of Christ
I could be wrong… but I think only 3 of the teams they played in the last 9 games are above .500
