Any cancelled game will be scheduled for a later date. We don’t just lose those games and points lol (unless we actually lose them and therefore don’t get points).
It’s still showing up on the Lightning website. Maybe the buyer of the tickets can’t make the new date of 1/7 and Ticketmaster gave them the option of a refund.
I think you are misreading it… The original oct 12th game is no longer happening as scheduled and jan 7th at 7pm is the new official date. That date has NOT been postponed again. It is worded a little shitty but I believe that’s what it is.
The person who bought the tickets for opening night can’t make the new date so they requested a refund.
That sucks, since TM told all the people who bought from them to suck it, more or less.
Games are only postponed. They don’t cancel them.
You better tell TM to refund all of your fees from the transaction as well.
Kind of on this topic, does anyone want two tickets for this game? I’m a distant thunder from Vancouver and won’t be able to make it back down for January 7th
