Hebert’s rant after Saints crash vs Rams: Yet again we can’t stop the run

WWL Radio’s Bobby Hebert sounds off after the latest crash and burn for the New Orleans Saints this time in a 21-14 loss to the L.A. Rams in a game they led 6-0 at halftime. Here’s what the Cajun Cannon had to say.

  2. excuse me but if the freakin defense cannot stop the run , or stop giving up p.i penalties , you not gona win with any quarter back,, stop blaming carr for everything , not to mention the defense cannot tackle chit , the team is old and bad , rebuild , top to bottom

  6. Ask a man to do everything and he gets hurt every time. I was drawing lineups on a chalkboard with other high school coaches and they all wanted to put the 5 best players on offense,defense, and special teams the whole game. I learned long before this coaches can't ask a guy to do everything every week and carry the team.

  7. These low hits especially to the knees should be banned in NFL and throughout college and High school. That was and intentional and deliberate, it was a pivotal part of the game! hits like that should have fines imposed and or ejection from the rest of the season!

  10. Well you know what Bobby let’s get into why we can’t stop the run and score in the red zone… Mickey loomis built a d line with no weight and run stopping depth. We have all pass rushers on the line. Dereck Carr can’t throw a timing ball to save his life so that’s why we can’t score in the red zone. It was micky loomis Dereck Carr and Dennis Allen. We got rid of one now there’s 2 more to get rid of and the problem can start getting solved

  11. Same story, same results, every year. Notice Bobby didn’t mention how bad Bresee is against the RUN.

    We need better SCOUTS, a competent GM & better PLAYERS. Old roster is showing.

    This team needs a LOT.

  12. Wow,Bobby mentioned”no impact on the game”Cam Jordon first possession three and out, but didn’t mention non clutch Derek Carr last play.Until these two players are gone, the Saints aren’t going anywhere.

  13. This is a bad football team! Saints doesn't do anything good. We are 4-8 team period, this team is old not enough top talent too many mistakes. Saints might win 2 more games that's it. Cam Jordan needs retire, Taysom is 35 yrs old with now another injury this one could put him out for more then 1 year on heavy deal his career could be done. Too many more players with bad contracts so Mrs Gayle has to think about the future no more we can still win it's done.

  18. You can't blame everything on car but the players need to play there game when the defense can't stop a team that not on car they need to look at themselves point blank

  19. No excuses we should win when the defense held the Rams to 0 points the 1st half. No reason we shouldnt have scored besides FGs. MVS didnt get enough targets and we depend too much on AK and Tayom. Now Taysom is out we are finished. Carr cant step up and win us any games.

    Carr played well in the 1st half but played like trash in the 2nd.
    Defense played well in the 1st half but played like trash in the 2nd.
    Time to find a better and more consistent team t

  23. Is this the same Bobby Hebert who went to Atlanta….lived in Atlanta…..and would still be Mr.Falcon if he could have landed a gig there…..oh yeah…. that's him…..wake up Saints fans…… he's strictly a fan of whomever pays him…. he's a traitor
