  1. Thank you for the Marlins content. It's good to hear, as it has been all Soto, all the time inundating us. As far as ABS, I certainly consider myself a traditionalist, yet I accepted some of the previous rule changes as inevitable, and the issues we see with umpires vis-à-vis the StatCast strike zone box are no longer tenable. They are hurting MLB's credibility. The so-called "framing" issue is, frankly, another damaging issue for the league because it is a subjective application of rules. In this time of videogame-esque baseball when a half inch off a base is applied in replays, the human element in officiating is hardly tolerated. Accordingly, at the very least, we should figure out full-blown ABS in the future. This will parallel NASCAR- and soccer-like commercial ads on uniforms. I can't wait to see logos across the arses of players, necessitated, of course, by the ludicrous contracts of some super-wealthy team owners determined that only five or six teams have any real chance of winning titles. It's all freaking sad.
