I say let him walk; he’d be hurting himself more than the Astros. Is he going to have a revival of his skills going forward. He could cement his place in Houston sports history if he stays. He would be in the Biggio/Bagwell class of beloved Astros players. Would he get commercial deals like he enjoys with HEB? Those ads may not pay him a lot but it puts his face out there. I think he would be making a mistake if he leaves Houston.
