for the love of god svechkov better not become a routine scratch. i’ve never been as high on pars as i was tolvy or tommer but when are we gonna give the young guys the longer leash they need?

  1. I was hopeful for Pars due to his size, but he has not lived up to the hope. He just doesn’t seem to have that “dawg” in him.

  2. Pars would be an incredible 3/4 line piece for us if he’s given the chance. Am I the only that remembers the OT goal?
I feel like he’s in the same trap most of our prospects are put in. The kid has size and skill.
Playing McCaron or Jan over him is a mistake imo

  3. Parssinen was good in his first season…when he was given a proper chance to play

Brunette is making all the same mistakes that Hynes is making: grit and physicality only. No room to develop speed and skill

This franchise needs a total fucking reset, down to the minor league coaches. We can’t just be this inept at developing prospects

  4. I realise that it’s tough right now and the “easier” choice is to play Jankowski, Smith, McCarron, etc but I’ve never been particularly disappointed in Parssinen, and the optics of yet another top prospect walking is awful. It leaves basically Evangelista as the only forward prospect through the ranks since Sissons and Forsberg. Are we really that bad at developing forwards?! Can we really be that bad at developing forwards?

  5. We’ve got to fucking stop this at some point and just let a kid play. You aren’t making the playoffs this year, so fucking play with house money and see what you get.

  6. I get it that Trotz is clearing house with prospects he didn’t have fingerprints on but it’s not like these guys are bums they haven’t even gotten fair chances in the lineup 🤦‍♂️

  7. Why on earth are we playing the young kids only like 20 seconds a game and then shrugging our shoulders when they aren’t scoring 50+ goals a game?? I don’t understand this. We need to get younger, not older.
