I thought he played a solid game, but I would like to see one or two more out of him.
Pretty impressive to score in your second NHL game
When watching defenseman early in their careers. The best thing you can say about them is you don’t even know that they are on the ice until they do something positive! And by that I mean a nice stick check a hard check into the boards or score their first goal in the NHL. He did that last night in his second game in the NHL. I just hope that his parents were able to make the game.
I thought they should have given him a couple more games last year. Looked a lot better than Santini did. If Crozier isn’t coming back anytime soon to be called up I don’t have a problem with Carlile getting in a few more games
Don’t have any yet. Ask me after 5 more games
He might’ve only played 11 minutes last night but when he was out there he made the simple play, recovered well defensively, and held his own boxing out guys net front
I’d like to see more of an extended look from him and Crozier(when he’s healthy) because had we not acquired Moser from Utah in the summer I thought there was a good chance of him making this team
Really hopeful he can be our defense version of Chaffee this year where he gets sent down, comes back up, and finds a way to solidify himself in the lineup
they’ve got him for 2 more years which means if the team moves on from raddysh or perbix this guy should be right in the mix along with crozier. he’s looked fine so far but we all said that about perbix’s first like 30 games and then things changed.
I think he’s only played two NHL games and I don’t have a real opinion on him yet
He’s a PPG NHL player!!!
As someone that has watched him since his second to last year in Merrimack, he is definitely a depth guy right now but his ceiling in a solid 5/6 dman that can play up and down the lineup. I think with more ice time in Syracuse with the occasional call up, he can develop into a poor mans McDonagh that is serviceable on the bottom pairing for 4-5 years
I had a bet slip that included Hagel and Point scoring, Bolts winning and over 5.5 goals scored. It
Wasn’t looking great for that last leg for a while there, but I will always remember Declan’s first goal for a few reasons, that being one of them
If we were talking Declan rice It would be a lil different
