I watched the entire replay, and this truly feels like a Jets annual tradition at this point. We all fight over winning meaningless games in December only to start getting excited by the draft and be bought back in by the pre-season. Tyson going hard on VMan over his Belichick take to kick us off. I am still not convinced that there was a request for an interview, but I would not turn down the interview if that is what actually happened. Great call RandomMan! Players don't tank. That would require them to understand the team is wanting to draft their replacement. They don't want to lose their jobs. Tanking is a fan fantasy

The Jets looked like they didn't care about winning games the whole season; now they care about winning meaningless games- now that there's 'no hope for the playoffs'?! Doesn't make much sense . After all, I thought the whole point of the "draft" was to improve the team? And in order to do that , isn't it better to have a Draft pick that's closer to the #1 pick, or am I going crazy here!

The fact that it takes playing a fellow bottom feeder team to look even semi-competent is whats sad. And they BARELY won vs. this awful Jax team. Nothing changed other than rodger/DA look a little more in sync and AR looks a little more mobile. The defense is still abysmal, and the offense still struggles far more often than it should.
I have no faith in what ever comes of this team. Regardless of coach/gm, I am still riding on the mantra tyson voiced that i told myself. Until this team shows me any different, i just dont care. The new gm/coach and roster will need to show they deserve to be watched and cared about before they just get it.
