Not surprised. They’re clearly not willing to scratch 55 and Jones has been equally as rough the past few games. I like him but he has a lot to figure out defensively.
Lindgren out here stealing a living
No one will want to admit it but Jones has been brutal lately. So has Lindgren. But Jones play has fallen off a cliff with the rest of the team. Im sure hell be back in soon
Yes Lindgren should probably be benched but Jones has also been straight buns lately so I don’t really have an issue with this.
I know Jones hasn’t been great lately either, but at least he still hustles and I feel somewhat confident he can cover for potential mistakes with his speed. Lindgren can’t do that.
Also now I wanna see Bread throwing down hot dogs on the bench🤣

I cant believe we are scratching Jones instead of Lindgren. WTF are we doing! I dont want to hear how Jones has struggled recently, he was paired with Mancini who has not been good at all… meanwhile Lindgren has been stapled to Fox and cant even get average numbers. This is insanity.
Not really excited about Rempe either. Vesey and Brodzinski are way more effective
Laviolette talks like he runs a meritocracy when he only cycles bottom 6/ bottom pair guys that are under 25 years old and the vets have immunity
It’s ok I’m sure Lingren will get injured again and Jones will be a regular lmao not wishing it on him but he guy is made of glass at this point

Jones has been abysmal
Jones has not been the worst player on defense.
I dont get what Lindgren has to do to get scratched.
Unhappiness from who is and isn’t scratched aside, we’re missing the most important part:
Artemi Panarin is the next Phil Kessel confirmed.
If Jones wants to move on from this country club, I suggest he go rogue like big Kakko

Zac Jones has been better than Lindgren all season despite the fact that he’s only played with AHL defenseman, while Lindgren has spent most of his TOI with the best defenseman in the league

Am I the only one that doesn’t really see it with Zac Jones in terms of being here in the future? His game is better than Lindgren but idk I think I’d prefer to move on from him and rebuild the left side of the defense around Key/2 new d men.
