1. Less strikeouts and hitting with runners in scoring position would be a great Christmas present. I think 75 to 80 wins is within reach next year. I hope we make a couple of additional moves before season starts.

My one wish for this team, which you all discussed, is that we get rather or have a healthy Mike trout for the entirety of the season. If trout can stay healthy, then I believe that that snowballs through the rest of the team, not with health, but with his leadership on the field and off the field. I believe that will help to also accomplish some of the other Christmas wishes that you outlined in the segment.Have a merry Christmas.

17. We can just recycle last year's Christmas wish list. Front end starters. Better bullpen. A third baseman. A second baseman. Outfielders who can hit. Better bench. We've upgraded at backup catcher and DH. Kikuchi is 33 and has a lifetime ERA of 4.50. He replaces Sandoval who is 28 and has a lifetime ERA of 4.10…. this is the same team. Maybe 'Moreno The Grinch' will add some real players to the lineup and rotation?

18. I want Mike Trout to be healthy for a whole year, and the Angels to make the playoffs! That would be awesome!!!

19. I want Trout and Rendon healthy and both produce! I’m not sure we do a lot more. Last year Perry said more moves would be made and that’s when it went ice cold. I wouldn’t be surprised if it is the same this year. I do think the additions we made already are far better than last year. Merry Christmas Jon/Mike!

    For me,
    Angels team health, especially Trout, and with good health, my 2nd wish
    would happen.
    2nd wish, have a 81-81 season, maybe even 82-80 ???
    With our youth movement and good veteran pick ups a .500 record is possible.
    Yes, it's a big jump from this seasons 63-99 but if,if,if we can stay healthy then
    it's very possible.
    Jon you are totally right, this will be "no expectations" part 2, a season to
    continue the growth and development with the goal of being competitive and
    close to that .500 record.
    By 2026/2027 it will be time to really climb and make a run at a playoff spot.

    I want genuine, easily evidenced, easy to track and measure, absolutely no question PLAYER DEVELOPMENT on both pitching and offense.

    This would give me more hope for the future than anything else

22. Mike, what you said about having a line up from top to bottom that is not necessarily full of superstars but that is a threat is so important. If any of your everydayers have memories of the 1972 Athletics, they will recall an infield that included Epstein, Green, Campneris, and Bando; an outfield that had Monday, Jackson, and Rudi; a catcher named Tenace; a starting rotation that boasted Hunter, Blue, Odom, and Holtzman; and Fingers in the bullpen. Out of those 13 players, maybe four of them are regarded as legends, but that group won it all. I'm hoping for that for the Halos.
