My favorite moment of the season has got to be Cedric Mullins catch on Jackie Robinson day. I screamed at the top of my lungs. 😂
The fact that it only took a ONE-year deal to sign Walker Buehler and O's decided not to beat that deal for whatever reason is a huge disappointment. He looked like himself towards the end of the season and in the post season. That's a steal for Red Sox.
My favorite Orioles moment was Jackson Hollidays first career home run in the bigs! Honorable mention: Cowsers insane catch in left field vs the Red Sox in Fenway.
My favorite moment was…. New ownership 🤘⚾️🤘 I'm an 2XL.
My favorite Oreo moment was when Anthony the walk-off Grand slam thanks Connor
i hope the orioles re sign corbin burnes
Burnes or bust. I will 😢sell my tickets if they are rebuilding.
All great moments here! I'll go with the walk-off win over the Yankees leading into the all-star break, specifically Cedric making Verdugo look absolutely foolish to end the game.
My favorite moment was David Rubenstein buying the O's. Honorable Mention = Corbin Burnes trade.
My favorite was tied between Jackson first Homerun, or when John sold the team. Leaning towards the selling of the team since John was like the most hated man in Baltimore
My favorite Orioles moment from 2024 was Colton Cowser hitting his first 2 hrs in Boston. I love colton cowser and after that moment, he became an everday guy and sad to say was the unofficial end of Hays as a Oriole to me
To see Byrnes pinch for the orioles❤
My favorite moment was also Jackson Hollidays first home run. A struggling star in the making, was definitely great to see some turn around with that swing
Favorite moment of 2024: James McCann returning to the game after getting hit in the nose, breaking it and deeply bloodying his 12:21 face and uniform. That showed McCann’s gutsy-ness and team leadership. I must admit to disappointment that McCann will not be returning to the O’s in 2025 though I have nothing against Gary Sanchez. Whichever team hires McCann will be getting a great teammate and leader.
My favorite O's moment has to be Tony's go ahead grand slam against the Astros in August. Just the way Cowser, Adley and Gunnar set the table for him, getting on down by 3 late in the game, and then the way Santander came up to the plate ready for the moment, it felt like a special moment. Then when he took the count to 2-1 – the swing he put on that high fastball, his immediate reaction and look over to the dugout, and the way the whole place went nuts… that one sticks out. In context, it was also in the middle of a frustrating second half. We were having trouble closing games out but they weren't going to let that one get away. The Astros had an awesome second half it's crazy they made the playoffs when you think about the start they had – that win didn't come easily! Gonna miss that guy being an Oriole.
Thanks so much for your hard work in 2024! Best Orioles news and talk out there. I've put many of my O's friends on to the podcast. We listened to the past week's shows when driving to the Yard last year and this year and will continue to.
The 17-5 bashing of the Yankees
Favorite moment: Cowser hitting 2 home runs in Fenway, including a grand slam.
My favorite moment was Jackson’s Grand Slam!
The Orioles highlight of the year for me specifically was when I was in Cleveland for the game on August 3rd. I was in the RF standing room with a bunch of Guardians fans giving me some good natured ribbing and one clown who was taking it a bit too far with the pejoratives. Whenever Gunnar stepped to the plate, he'd chant "o-ver ra-ted" and other hacky stuff. One of the funnier Guardians fans nudged me and playfully asked if I was just going to take it, so when Gunnar stepped up in the 5th, I bet the obnoxious dude a beer that he'd get a hit. When Gunnar not only got a hit but also drove in the go ahead run, the obnoxious dude tried to ignore me until a bunch of the Guardian fans started calling him right when the beer man walked by and the obnoxious dude caved and got me one. That beer was pretty sweet but even better, the O's put up a bunch more runs and won the game.
My favorite moment was the seasaw battle against the Giants when Tony hit the walk off homerun .
My favorite Orioles moment was Corbin Burns last outing as an oriole against Kansas City
My favorite Orioles moment of this season was taking my godson to his first O's game versus the Giants when he came to visit. Santander hit a walk off to win it in the ninth.
I know it's not exactly a big moment for the team overall, but I will always remember him having the time of his life at the game.
Os new pitching added will wind up being Kyle Gibson watch
I feel like this is a lot of people’s favorite memory of the year but when Tony hit that Grand Slam against the Astros has to be it, I still remember how quickly he changed the vibes in the stadium after he hit it and how electric that moment was
Favorite moment cowser giving the extra effort and grabbing that base against the Astros it was much needed at the time
Anthony Santander is obvious but i am going witb Westy's walk off homerun when you actually saw him excited. That HR made me a fan of his with showing his emotions and the win. Love him and cowser along witb gunner and adley. I love this team
Favorite moment has to be McCann staying in the game after getting hit in the face. He knew Adley would have to catch a double header and it showed incredible grit and leadership.
My favorite moment was Santander crushing a walk off homer September 19th
I was there for the game, & meet Tony at Jimmys Seafood that night for a planned Meet & Greet they had there. What a day to meet Tony Taters in person it was!
My favorite moment in was taking my dad to the game on Father’s Day. First time going with him to a MLB game and both have now come big fans following the Os over the last year. Not to mention that Santander’s two homers blew the heavy Phillies crowd out of the water and got their coach ejected couldn’t ask for a better day!
