5. The Oilers got a standings point from that OT loss to the Kings but giving up 4 goals wasn't so good.

6. This is not a loss I lose sleep over. We gotta also think we get kane coming back for playoffs. I could see us trading Jeff skinner for 4th line c (a decent one). Like if we trade him for Morgan geekie, that’d be a damn good fit. Our lines would be good come playoff time.

   It would also free up even more cap for a top 4 dman.

Immovable object unstoppable force Immovable object won this game, and the Edmonton team looked worn down in 3rd period… and pretty much once they lost possession in OT the kings were at the shooting gallery, just think of this as a mile marker, still very early in season and the kings have not had Drew Doughty play 1 second in a game to this point, just think about that oilers……

9. While I realize as far as points go….McDavid is doing OK…..but there is something wrong with him….he just seems to be "off"….He's not dangling normally, missing passes…..just off!
