  1. If they’re losing more important picks and international money if they sign Santander, the only thing that makes sense then is trading Framber this year to get back some more top prospects to help replenish the farm with top talent

  4. Go watch a highlight reel of Santander’s defense in 2024. He made some great plays last year. He had only 2 errors and like a .993 fielding percentage. I saw him throw out a couple of guys too. Better than average arm. And he was tied for first or second in the league for assists in 2024.

  5. I was thinking Houston would sign Anthony Santander because he would fire up this offense in the lineup and this would be good for veteran presence in the organization to assist with the young outfielders if y’all understand what I am saying.

  10. Santander is a pipe dream at this point. Would love him in this lineup. Realistically looking at Hays or Verdugo. Younger than 30, No picks lost signing them, and could use a 1 year prove it deals to sign

  13. Just out of curiosity has anyone tried to bird dog and see what the players were that the Astros could have picked in the drafts that they lost? We have said all along that these draft picks don't always pan out. The picking order of the Astros in this draft isn't going to be as good because they won the division.
