  1. He has an .826 ops at the dome and a sub .800 ops in 'late and close' games.

If it wasn't for the ability to watch out of town games, I'm not sure we'd be so in love with him.

    Not at his value anyway.

  2. Nobody knows if the team is contending or falling off a cliff, signing Vladdy is and has always obviously been the 🗝️ here. Canadian born, homegrown franchise player… Look how AA handled Acuna jr to see what could have been.

  3. Trade him and you might get a couple everyday non star players.. you aren’t getting a top 5 mlb prospect, the blu chip guy.. sign him for $450-500 million.. you still finish 4th in the division.. tough call

  4. If Vlad don't sign, the Jays will not be in a very DARK place! One player never makes that kind of difference. But now if you pay Vlad $500 mil and he can't keep his weight down, especially when he is 28 and up, then the Jays are in a very DARK place!

  5. They have to decide quickly if they can extend him, if they can't, they have to trade him before spring training and same applies to Bo, no more delaying… However, Atkins & Shapiro definitely should not be in charge of trading our 2 biggest assets and replenishing the farm system.
