This feels like the off season something finally breaks upstairs. *I hope*
I want everyone from the GM down, except Buckner, Nelson, Pierce, Raimann, Downs, Jones and maybe JT sent packing
And even then, I would let any of these guys go if they wanted to go chase a ring elsewhere because we are nowhere near sniffing the ass end of a Super Bowl anytime soon
That’s pretty damning for the whole org
32nd in offensive time of possession, 31st in plays ran. I imagine the conversation from Buckner went like “Maintain some drives, we are wore the fuck out!”. Defense only allowed 17 TDs in first half, but 18 in 4th quarter alone, probably from being wore out.
So there is PR coming from all sides about AR. Typically this is followed by a breakup. Everyone is trying to line themselves up as the “wronged” party.
Man I really like Buckner. Seems like a great dude and he’s a great player
I honestly cannot remember this much internal drama before. Not to this extent. And all of this is coming out before the end of the season. It’s hard to remember that in a few days they’ll be playing again, at home. Jeezum crow this could be a really interesting game.
Well this isn’t a good look for AR and the organization. What a failure the Ballard tenure turned out to be. Going to take years to recover.
Can’t support that Anthony. Exact opposite of the way AR talks about work in public. Shit sucks.
We need a new QB! I’ve seen and heard enough
Ive said it since the start HE IS Jamarcus Russell 2.0 except he says the right things in the media. Richardson is the gifted athlete that has NEVER had to work, everything has been handed to him. Now that he needs to work and everyone is as good as him he has been exposed and doesn’t know what to do. Its not gonna change.
Also, in the article it states Richardson really took that advice to heart and changed his preparation . He’s a talented and a good kid, but he didn’t know how to prepare as an NFL QB. He did the bare minimum and that isn’t enough. Only one year as a starter in college would do that. He should have stayed in college. He’s been stepping it up as of late, however, that may not be enough. We’ll see next season.
Why is this new to everybody? I remember this being said when he was benched.
Either way, I guess it’s good that people are finally realizing that he’s not the one, I just hope our front office eventually learns of a way to get out of this. I legit don’t even care if it’s gracefully or not, we just can’t be like this
Also, where do I read the article where I don’t have to pay
This is a absolute mess, as an armchair GM/Coach I don’t see any solution that would be quick.
The guys a bust. Stupid fucking pic. Let’s pic a guy who has barely played because he can throw the ball far. This is why the colts are pathetic.
So, he’s lazy?
Can someone post the full story here . Don’t have access in Canada 🇨🇦
To me the off the field stuff is so much more concerning than the play aspect. Which.. hasn’t been great either.
If AR was green on the field and had accuracy issues, but played hard and had the character, I would be totally fine. That’s a player that can develop.
But the immaturity and softness is what has me ready to abandon the AR ship. Dude is basically a rookie, has barely played, and already has vets BEGGING him to act like a professional? I can’t take that shit.
Driving in to Indy from St. Louis tomorrow for the game and not sure what the bigger shit show is going to be this weekend: the game or I-70 on the way back
Off-season gonna be so juicy.
Damn. AR gotta step it up on defense for sure.
Yet the coach is fine and we’re probably keeping him
It doesn’t help that the defensive scheme encourages long drives from opposing offenses. Also doesn’t help AR that Steichen kept dialing up deep shots down the field.
Making AR a Captain his rookie year tells me all I need to know about this soft as sour cream ass team.
Absolute failure of leadership throughout the Front Office and especially coaching staff. Draft a 20 year old with 10 starts under his belt and expecting him to know how to be a professional? That’s dumb. Doing that and not explaining the expectations of the job? Idiotic. Not doing either of these things, don’t hold your DC or defense accountable and then go right back to your young, dumb QB like nothing happened? Insane.
I don’t see how any coach or member of the front office keeps their job.
