We're almost half way through the year, who is your favorite to win it all? Celtics, Cavs, Thunder, someone else?
Caruso and Chet didn’t play enough said 👀👀👀
I don’t think they are going the finals this year but once they win one, it’s over for everyone.
Legs is the best, but he’s gonna be disappointed in the Commanders playoff run. 😂
I'd say the NBA Narrative is why the Thunder are so dominant in the 4th…!!! The NBA loves a good Narrative they keep mistaking fans for their parents…!!!!😂
Really hope we get some unbiased MVP talk and not the one sided jokic pitch from Mr. Denver on the pod
OKC is playing murders row coming up. Boston twice, Cavs twice, NY twice and Philly who could look great when healthy. 7 games that if you were to go 5-2 would be amazing. 4-3 would be good. By the 3rd week in January, you'll know who OKC is. A team no one wants in a series or a cute team that can't hung with the big boys. JDud is the x Factor. He has to be the second-place player. He can't keep giving you nothing on 1 end of the floor. If he does OKC can easily lose a series. Just like last year, He was horrible on the offensive end against Dallas. OKC loses 4 game by a handful of points. If he gave them anything they were in the final. SGA give you pretty much 30-6-6 a night. JDud give you 25 or 6. Can't happen. You need him to be a player you are scared of. You don't need to score 30 but you need teams to think you can. Right now I hard double SGA and make anyone else on OKC roster beat you. I don't think it can't happen right now.
I’ve said so many times over the years that SGA plays a lot like MJ and Kobe in the mid range. How are these professionals just now noticing it?
Shai averages 7.9 free throws a game. Can we stop with the free throw shit?
Isiah Thomas called to make a copyright claim on the title.
Great show, thanks 😊
Boston at 65 at the half and ended the game with 92. I can’t tell you how amazing that is. My goodness.
NBA officials make OKC dominant. They foul more than any team in the NBA, yet they are 21st in team fouls called. Tired of hearing technically it's a foul, but they're not going to call that as the opponents are called for those fouls. It's the commissioner of the NBA picking winners.
Im with legs i love the nba but the nfl and football is different. Would love to hear more football talk lol. And Kawhi back for my Clips and my Chargers got the 5th seed that I saw in person, great weekend for me lol! Great show guys per usual
Shai is far more efficient than Kobe
Y’all forgot Jacob Poeltl lol
When I watched the NBA and Bill Russell was in the booth he always mentioned that even though they look like good shots they weren't because the team was out of rhythm.
Thunder Up! ⛈️
Sorry Legs, Go Bucs! 😂
Thunder Up!
Jefes! Love your stuff gentlemen
Amen Thompson gonna give a lot of dudes heartburn for a lot of years.
Shai reminds me of Gerald Henderson on those old bobcats teams. Real ball knowers understand
When OKC is at their best, their team reminds me a classic dominant old school nfl/bama team. They grind you down with effort, physicality, quickness on both ends over the game. What works kind of in the first quarter or two will kill the other team in later 2nd half. Because they're tired and tired of being hit, held, pushed, pulled all that. But like the best old school defensive backs, they know how to ride the line between legal and illegal all game long. So the other team will shoot more free throws but none of their offense will flow.
From watching them, my only worries are handling SGA traps early. If you can turn them over alot, you can find more success.
Kobe is a great comp for shai
I can’t tell you how much I hate this narrative about how teams missed a lot of open shots in the second half in every one of these games against the Thunder like they had nothing to do with it. First of all the league average on 3 pt shooting is 36%. Teams are going to miss 2 out of every 3 shots on average, but somehow everyone uses it as an excuse vs OKC. More importantly though when you play OKC teams know what they’re walking into. They know they’re about to go through 48 minutes of pure relentless harassment. OKC’s defense alone will wear down a team so much in the 1st half they are completely physically and mentally gassed in the 2nd which leads to these 2nd half avalanches for the Thunder. Teams playing OKC know this as well. So before the game even starts OKC’s defense begins draining you mentally. Knowing this is coming they have to exert even more energy than usual in the first half to combat it. All of this snowball’s into the Thunder just mentally and physically beating down their opponents to the point where things that would normally seem easy or trivial becomes extremely difficult. So you can say those were wide open shots they normally hit and OKC just got lucky and next time they won’t be, but that couldn’t be further than the truth. OKC is affecting those second half shots without even putting a hand up. Oh by the way OKC’s 2nd best player and best defender isn’t playing, their 6th man and one of the top 10 maybe even top 5 perimeter defender isn’t playing, and their backup point guard and most consistent bench player this season didn’t play last vs the Celtics. All while the Celtics were completely healthy and OKC playing 4 games in 6 nights. Your comment about Wemby being the best defender and it’s not even close is also laughable. He may be the best, but at worst it’s very close, and I firmly believe isn’t the best. How quickly we forget about Chet completely dominating Wemby earlier this season when Wemby only scored 6 points. It was a complete mismatch in favor of Holmgren. Not to mention Dort is the most underrated defender in the league and it’s criminal he isn’t being talked about DPOY right night. Jalen Brown had 21 points in the 1st half and 0 in the 2nd. When Mark Daigneault was asked what the did differently, all he said was we put Dort on him. Dort currently has a better defensive rating than Wemby with advanced analytics. Him and Chet when he comes back, are the best defender’s on what might be the greatest defensive team in history during an era of historically great offenses. Before Chet got hurt he was favored by many to be DPOY and the rest had him even money. I think Wemby is amazing and might go down as one of the greatest to ever do it. He has an offensive game that far out pace’s Dort and even Chet, but to say it’s not even close on the defensive side is a slap in the face to some of the greatest defense we have ever seen played. You might be right in a few years, but right now Dort is having more impact on his teams defensive performance night in and night out than Wemby and so was Chet before he got hurt. Go back and watch their heads up matchup just a couple months ago, Wemby wasn’t even close to Chet.

another great pod! ty
By far the best nba podcast in existence
As a big Edwards fan I feel that he could benefit much more from more off ball movement..
Hoping my Redkins win but Baker is my favorite Sooner
Jdub took on the hardest defensive assignment. He puts it all in the defensive side of the ball. Jalen played the 5 multiple minutes tonight
OKC had same issue in the 1st half missing their shots
Adam aka "the Spurs are bad". The only think he can say on that podcast DNVR Sports. 🤣
