I like this move. I thought he called a solid game last week vs Arizona (albeit in a meaningless game).
So is the only change is a fancy new title and a pay raise? Or is Kubiak actually going to get to contribute and influence play calling?

This is how you keep guys from leaving. Unfortunately, our offensive staff gets pillaged every year. Hopefully, Griese stays despite not being OC.
This is really just a way to keep him on staff. I’d be surprised we notice any real difference on the field.

So far, I am loving these off season moves.
They need to bring in new blood with different ideas. Not promote in house that do the same thing with a different voice. Shanahan tree offense been struggling across the league this season.

They should let Kubiak make all the calls in the 4th Quarter.
Shanahan just straight up can’t finish or come from behind.
This mere cosmetic changes. Kyle shouldn’t call plays period.
