Keon Johnson finished with a team-high 22 points along with 4 rebounds for the Nets in the losing effort. The Nuggets improve their record to 22-15 with the win, while the Nets fall to 13-25 for the season. The Nuggets’ next game is Sunday, 1/12/2025, against the Mavericks on the road (3:00 PM ET, KFAA/Altitude), while the Nets continue their road trip on Sunday, 1/12/2025, when they face the Jazz (8:00 PM ET, KJZZ/YES).

  1. Lol all of these "pro Westbrook" comments are good to see, but it's funny that these same folks will disappear or turn on him after one bad game, blame him after one loss. Westbrook is an All Time Great, simple. A few good games or bad games doesn't change that.

    A triple double off the bench, once they get the chemistry going and establish a flow. The nuggets could make a deep playoff run if not finals easy

This is not new for Russ, several players have had their best season of their career next to him, KD won his only MVP playing with russ, PG was head for an MVP had he not injured both of his shoulders play next to russ, Bradley beal took his game to another level the season he played with russ & they made the playoffs in washington, people forget he's lead the league in assist multiple times, he fills the stat sheet for a reason because he has an all around game, & before the injuries he was had a good midrange shot, also he's a rhythm player, great playmaker, deadly when provide space, just relentless & always in top shape

  7. Westbrook could have more triple doubles but sadley, he watse his prime playong for teams that did not appreciate him and and with le-dictating-ball-hog

    – he competes
    – plays hard every night every possession.
    – never takes off work.

  43. I'm loving Westbrook and always have. I don't think Nuggets would even make the playoffs in the West if not for Westbrook. That being said, Russ is one of the greatest regular season players of all time. The issue has never been the regular season but the playoffs when defenses tighten and game is more half court. Russ obviously has never played with a guy like Jokic but I think we need to wait till the playoffs to evaluate things

  44. People are so stupid. They forget that Russ is a beast and always has been even during his time at Lakers. The guy has averaged triple double stats in 2 consecutive seasons. And people were calling this guy Westbrick 🤦🏻
