Bear fans are such meatballs. He would immediately be the best coach since Lovie. Should he be the first choice? No. But to not listen to what he has to say and/or seriously consider him is silly.

Why we need someone for the next ten years
He did hire Waldron, but Waldron was actually pretty serviceable under Carroll. Maybe Waldron's ineptitude in Chicago was more of a reflection of Eberflus' ineptitude than his own. Maybe Pete Carroll was able to make Waldron a better OC by creating a winning culture, and demanding excellence from everyone in the building. Winning football is more about a collective attutude than a certain scheme or the philosophy of a head coach, or even about a particular player. It's an organizational attitude, a willingness to do what it takes to be great. I think Carroll inspires that winning attitude as a head coach. He's won on the NFL and NCAA level. He is not too old. He still has some tread on the tires.
Pete Carroll is the GOAT. I wanna see what he does after USC & Legion of Boom. Greatness is coming.
Everyone ripping on Shane Waldron, completely oblivious to the fact that all the Bear's victories this year, with exception of the season finale, were under Shane Waldron.
Why does everyone think Johnson will work? He’s not proven! He has elite talent around him w/ a Stud Head Coach Leading the way. We need a complete culture change w/ standards and expectations put into place. Vrabel or Pete Carroll will bring instant credibility.
I would be good with him accept for his age. Nothing really against his age so much but that it would lead to another HC search in not too distant future. In my life time Green Bay and Pittsburgh have had 7 head coach total between them. The Bears 18. What does that say for a winning culture vs a losing one.
