My kid and I were going to open skate at the Ice Haus a couple weeks ago and ran into Marchenko walking home with some takeout. He was really nice and took a picture with the kid. He’s #1 at our house now!

Marchy is way to good to be true. I remember the questions on this guy when he was signed and still in the KHL – he doesn’t face good competion there, the NHL is tougher, etc. Way to exceed all expectations on and off the ice, Marchy!!!
