  1. He was ranked #4 on the international prospects list. Power hitter. High swing and miss % that’s been the focus of his development. Scouts are very high on him. Seems a low-risk, high-potential signing for sure.

    Edit: To be clear, he’s 16 years old. He’s not playing next year. But he’s 6’4″ and bulking up.

  5. Turned out to be a smart move by Harris to go get C Rod and spend some of that pool we could allocate to Sasaki since he ain’t coming here and wouldn’t have anyways.
