10. The money is either a non-factor or if he's actually thinking about it, it definitely weighs in LA's favor. There are much fewer marketing opportunities and advertising dollars into Toronto and San Diego compared to Los angeles. Especially given the greater population of Asian people and Asian tourists in Los Angeles

17. No one seeing the big picture. It’s obvious he will be a dodger. The Padres or the Blue Jays are not contending so why would he sign with them now? He wants to play with Shohei Ohtani and Yamamoto while in their prime and defending the title. Dodgers boost his contract in 3 years where he will receive a mega contract

18. The fact is if he goes to the Dodgers he can expect to play in at least 2 world series. Thats 1 million in playoff funds. He should have 2 years in the NLCS that would be worth 500k. Then 2 years in the NLDS. Thats 1.75 million he should be able to make with the Dodgers. Blue Jays he would be lucky to make 300-500k in playoff bonuses. With the Padres considering their ownership has made it very clear they’re getting under the luxury tax they likely won’t be title contenders after 2025.He would likely make around 500-750 K with the Padres in playoff bonuses over the next 6 years. That is at least 1 million that he will make with the Dodgers in bonuses that he won’t make with other clubs. That makes up the difference in the international pool money
