You can’t say coaching is not at all relevant when new guy comes and leaves and the PP falls apart. They have no set plays it is just get the puck to Quinn and have him do something.
You guys forgot to mention that Miller wasn’t on the top unit for both of those first powerplays. I still can’t understand that.

I think JT is stepping back and letting EP40 show his leadership style, which appears to be non existent. He seems like a guy who's been told to just play and not get emotional, which is the only way he plays. EP40 on the other hand doesn't seem to be a leader, or a Team driver like Garland.
I usually listen to postgame shows but this team this year is not worth the time to even care. Season is lost sadly!
Would you trade Hughes for Bedard? Who says no to that trade? Bardard comes home and Hughes gets out of here for his own sake.

The American / Swede experiment is over, kaput. Even some of the Americans don`t like each other, so how will Swedes understand them at all. Nobody wants to come here in a trade. We will get Huberdeau contributions from any traded player to this team ( 1.5 ears of futility ).
They haven’t been able to get up for any of the big games this year that I can recall…. Hughes bowl, Joshua’s return, etc.
Absolutely wasting Hughes at this point. Has to be some big changes. Clearly moving miller and/ or Petey is going to be difficult to get full value but you have to do something. I assume they start with moving Boeser because you can’t commit to another member of this core.

Carrot and the hammer. A coaches job is to pick one of those tools to use depending on the character of the player. Tocchet seems to not know when and which player to use those tools.
