6. I firmly stood pat that the Padres were a horrible landing spot. You can tell me they have a good lineup, which they do, but it's not a better lineup than other teams out there. Musgrove is out, and they didn't trust any other pitcher but Cease, King, and Darvish to face the Dodgers, and two of them are hitting FA very soon. Then there's the ownership debacle. Then there's the fact that the Dodgers are a renowned pitching development organization. The future is not bright, and that's what he's got to consider. Toronto also has some issues, but money isn't one of them. So at the very least, if players actually decide to pick them, they'd spend the money. But the fact that their future remains in question until they extend/sign some long term stars; it doesn't help their case.

13. Padres salary is 244m and they haven’t sign anybody but Martin Maldonado to a minor league deal😂it was laughable he signs there or toronto the padres of the north. At least they have a World Series. Toronto is the fifth best team….in its division. I’d rather be on Boston, Ny, os or tb.

15. MLB should have a JAPAN team. The team could draft anyone but the Japanese players could play for a team where they'd be w/fellow Japanese (which is a motivating factor for Roki to go to the Dodgers to be fellow Japanese players).
