The blues are literally allergic to winning 3 in a row.
Edit: they’re now 0/8 on a chance to make their 2 game winning streak into 3.
we’re never winning three in a row, are we?
The Arizona coyotes might have moved to the mountains, but Clayton Keller and the team still feasts on our soul.
Incredibly disappointing game obviously, really needed to come away with a win tonight given how tough our schedule is in the coming weeks.
I don’t even know what to say anymore. They don’t hate to lose.
Bad games happen. But man, picked the wrong fuckin night for it. This could easily come back to bite us at the end of the season.
I’m not a financial advisor, but I’m going to start suggesting everyone bet their life savings against the blues the game after they’ve won 2 in a row 🙁
Can we please fast forward to when our shiny prospects are playing for the Blues? This team is exhausting to follow with how up and down they are. They give you just enough hope to think we’ll make playoffs and then give shit effort like tonight’s game. I’d argue being a shit team outright is better than this… I’m frustrated man…
Absolutely unacceptable. I’m so tired of this season man.
My pregame comment on the GT:
>I’ve watched about as many UHC games as I have Blues games this year. They are definitely Yoting it up right now. Their best D-Man (Sergachev) is hurt. Vejmelka has regressed to the mean. Their leading scorer, Guenther, is hurt.
>What I’m saying is that I’m pretty nervous for the Blues tonight.
Welp.
We are what we are: a painfully average hockey team
I’m sorry lads I’m a big Blues fan but I bet for Utah to win cause I thought the universe would rather sham me out of money than keep the Blues 0-8 3 game win streak alive. Lo and behold the Universe decided. I suggest we make a game out of this and always bet foe the other team to win on the 3rd game of a streak. You either lose money cause the Blues finally go 3 in a row or you cash on the craziest curse I’ve seen. 8 losses on the 3rd in a row is absolutely nuts
I think Monty has done wonders for this team already. However, some of his lines and special team decisions make me scratch my head. I know part of it is holding players accountable, but man.
Is what it is. Transition is a bitch, especially when it isn’t black and white tank. Gotta hope reinforcements are coming and non-cup players are being worked out. I trust in Monty.
Classic Blues. Follow up 2 huge and well played wins with a stinker in a game that could have put them in a great spot. They can’t make it easy ever.
Meaningless takeaway. 1 I wish Faulk would more often flip the puck out of the zone under pressure instead of up the boards. 2 Keep up the good work Tyler Tucker. You look like you stamp hands a Celtic music festival getting paid in beer , but you kick ass and clap bombs, you’ll be able to afford a second home in Cyprus if you keep this up. 3 try that hip check getting back that earned you that contract buch
I hate it when the St. Louis Blues lose hockey games.
Damn that Clayton Keller has a bug up his ass for us… 4 point night.
Binny had a brutal night
Piss poor showing to attend our first game in Utah. Coukd connect a pass all night. Reverted over thinking and outside play in the o zone. Poor shot choices. Came out sluggish and never got going. Pp is an embarrassment. Hope we do better in Vegas. We usually put a good effort down there
Credit to Ingram, he did make some nice saves and we certainly had our chances.
But a few of our top guys weren’t good enough. Thomas, Buch, Faulk in particular.
I mean if we’re being honest, Faulk isn’t one of our top players, he’s just paid like one. He has become the weak link on our blueline. Suter and Tucker look better than him.
Anyone have career stats of Clayton Keller vs the blues so I can laugh then cry myself to sleep

Baffling. I don’t agree with this.
The 2024-2025 Blues have still not won 3 games in a row…
Idk what power they have over the blues but the Arizona coyotes/ Utah hockey club are our kryptonite. The blues looked bad in every aspect tonight. As bad as I’ve seen them loo this season. Couldn’t pass, couldn’t generate shots, defense gave up a ton of open shots and high danger looks. Spent way too much time in the dzone. Regroup and go beat Vegas coming up
Am I overreacting to be worried about that Buch contract right now?
Ok, a few things from this game, and the general state of the Blues.
* I love Sunny, but I don’t know why he continues to get so much ice time (and PP time, what is going on with that?). Just in the last three games ALONE, he’s taken four minor penalties. Anyone else would be in the pressbox by now. So I can only assume that Texier shot his dog, or something equally awful.
* I’m glad to see that Monty is making some changes to the PP, but I still don’t understand why Faulk continues to get PP time. Why not someone like Broberg who has looked fantastic and seems ready to go? Or Perunovich, who at this point seems destined to be traded sooner or later if he doesn’t crack the lineup?
* Finally, this team has some serious issues with their complete inability to win three fucking games in a row. They’ve had multiple chances this season, and failed EVERY TIME. I know Monty is here for the long haul, but at least some of that falls on the coach for failing to get these guys ready to go.
I really thought this team would be able to make the playoffs. I still think they can. But this club has some serious fucking problems that they need to work out, and games like tonight, where they get absolutely humiliated by ~~Arizona~~ Utah yet again show how far they still have to go.
This is a comment that will be extremely controversial, but I think we need to have a real serious talk about Buch as trade capital. He’s not cooked, he’s still hitting 60+ points most likely, but he’s one of the few players who doesn’t really line up with our prospects timeline while having some value on the trading block. Toss Buch for a 2C and promote Bolduc.
That was it y’all. With how tough the schedule is here in the near future, gonna be real hard to keep pace in the wild card
