Clark played 72 minor league games before making his major league debut by smacking a home run in his first at bat off of Nolan Ryan at age 22. He was a college baseball star.
Eldridge has no college pedigree. He was a star in high school and so far, has shown great power. The only knocks on him thus far are his fielding and contact rate.
