  1. I believe that with the current Dodgers roster, they are strong enough to defeat the alien teams representing the other 29 planets, and claim the championship in the “Interstellar League.” 😎

  2. With the chatter about the Dodgers "printing money," could it be that the stadium construction occurring now includes a secret room for the printing press? ijk

  3. Graderol could be out till July or August with his bum shoulder some of these guys are way to injury prone for my liking I’m glad they won a full season World Series in 24 though now the pressure is off pretty much

  4. Speaking of injuries, much as well get all the players that the Dodgers want. From the middle of the season to the playoffs, more likely half of the pitchers are getting hurt. So it’s better to stock up players right now while they are available. Because we might not able to get them afterwards. If there’s no room well, we can send them to minor league for time being. At least we have reserved that always ready. One thing I’m hoping for is to resign Flaherty. But my wish of them all is to acquire Arraez 🙏🏻

  5. As a Dodger fan, tbh, I think it is alittle of an over kill.

Not because the Dodgers spending way more than other teams but you got to have some open roster spots for your prospects to shoot for.

Like if I’m Outman, or Pages, or Casparius, or Bobby Miller, or Dustin May, or Knack, etc. I’m not trill with spring training. There is just no roster spots for them unless you get a whole lots of injuries.

IMO, position battle is important as well and there is practically none right now on the team. We can all write 26 roster spots separately and 25 names will be the same

  6. As a METS fan who bleeds the METS blue and orange(it’s the only blue for me),I have ABSOLUTELY NO problem with what you guys are doing. Our time will come(screw the haters!!!). We are just waiting in line right behind you and only GOD knows for how long. LGM💙🧡👍🏾.

  7. The way baseball financing goes, as each year passes where a team is over the tax threshold, the tax rate goes up. This is supposed to make teams want to get back under that ceiling and not spend every year.

Well the Dodgers made that work for them. They said if we're going over, we're blowing the doors off because the first year you pay only the regular tax penalty.

For any team that has the means to spend, this makes sense.

But each year going forward the tax on the big multi-year contracts will iteratively grow and the tax will get really painful until the team dips below that threshold.

Dodgers fans should enjoy this ride while it lasts which might be 3 years and maybe a 4th and then the team will have to be dismantled.

  8. This isn’t Andrew Friedman’s doings, this the Shohei Ohtani effect! The golden era of the Dodgers is the Shohei Ohtani’s contract specifications of what he said he wanted to do if he signed. It’s SHO-TIME BABY!!

  9. Its exactly right that "overstocking" on high end bullpen arms is a sound, if not necessary, strategy to mitigate injuries we all know are coming….AND, they don't act like they need to trade someone because the foolishly think they have a "surplus".
