  1. Unreal. We continue to refuse to spend. If we don't sign bregman, I will lose faith in Harris. Santander for that money is a great deal. And not giving yates a big offer is insane

  2. Thank you for not being another simp. Like most tubers defending the Dodgers! I would not fault them if they don't get Bregman if he wanted a 6 year contract especially given the Dodgers. Trade deadline is the real opportunity should we be in the hunt.

  3. The offseason crawls by like a nasty knuckleball low and inside
And Scott Harris just stands there with his calculated risk checkbook

Like the house by the side of the road

  4. I understand the frustration, believe you me. Though I think/hope Harris is playing a slow strat due to budget constraints. The more time that goes by the cheaper people are becoming. That doesn’t matter to us but I think he’s dealing with a budget and he’s trying to maximize his moves. He is risking losing out on Breg or whomeve but the money he’s saving maybe allows him to sign a Kim or someone else in that salary range. I don’t know, probably just wishful thinking, seeing Illitch isn’t throwing the money around and usually doesn’t.

I believe Bregman, Flaherty, and Kim are still out there though. Those are the three I was hoping for all along, plus Sasaki, but apparently that was a pipe dream.🤢 Bregman was being pegged at +200 million now I’m seeing 150-170. I just really hope I’m not hyped up on the copiam and realize we I didn’t do anything but sign Alex Cobb all off season. 🤮

  5. I think our offense will be much stronger this year if we can keep our young hitters healthy. Carp & Green & Colt, plus Torres should eclipse last years production . If the Tigers stay healthy, watch out. Thanks Scott. Go Tigers!

  6. I’m not a baseball guy but here’s my take on Chris Illitch. His dad was a self made guy. He started with nothing. He loved sports and was a highly competitive person. He worked his ass off and made a ton of money. These teams were his passion so spending money was not an issue. He saw a bigger picture. Now, I’m not saying Chris doesn’t work hard….i don’t know the guy so I can’t say. But it seems he doesn’t have the drive or passion like his dad did. I’m going to assume that also means the passion isn’t the same. He was born rich so I don’t know if the same internal drive. So does Chris want to see his money go…who knows? But it doesn’t surprise me that the Tigers don’t spend

  7. It's time for Chris to sell the team cause clearly he don't love the Tigers like his father did,…it's just another part of his pizza corporation,…"GO GET'EM TIGERS "🐯

  8. The problem within the organization is they don't have a true third baseman on the roster nor in the minors. Lots of potential infielders 1-3 years away but no 3rd baseman. Sign Bregman and plug and play for 4yrs.

  9. No good reason at all that Tori Hunter misses out on the HOF. How many gold gloves does it take? He produced at such a high level for more seasons than most. Shame if he doesn't get in.

  10. TThis Tiger team will not sign anyone of significance, Harris has been given the job of putting together a competitive team with the budget constraints he has to work with. Considering the circumstances I believe he has done a pretty good job. Bregman will not sign with the Tigers and that is fine. They made him what we hope is their best offer. Then move on and give Jung a shot to play along with Vierling. This team does not appear to have a definite cloiser going into this season. The Tigers will not be much more than just a competitive team until or unless Illitch sells the team.I don't really care one way or another about the Tigers never getting Santander . Thank you Scotty Ray L

  11. Granted this is a Tiger blog, but LA was a juggernaut last year, yet they have signed a team full of players. So who are the odd men out over there and where are they ending up?
