3. Why is no one hiring any of the guys we interviewed? Patriots hired T. Williams, Bengals hired Golden, and Falcons hired Ulrich. Other teams are not hiring the people that the NFL says are the top candidates! They are thinking outside the box! Hopefully Lou was a good hire, but we were made to believe this were the guys and now no one is hiring them…end rant!

8. I think Gus to Lou looks a lot like Reich to Steichen. There is a lot of overlap, but more flexible and with more window dressing.

9. Kent: odd question. Years ago, Phil Jackson (yes, THAT Phil Jackson) stated in an interview that his dream job was coaching in the Ivy League. He wanted to coach players simply wanting to play. If cost were no object, would he be a good fit at IU?

11. I’m negative Nelly these days which I hate being that guy. But I grew up having fundamentals drilled into me. Indiana has no sense of team defense. Just terrible. And “hearing” anything from a coach during a press conference is meaningless. Show me. I hope coach can take a bad defense and make it better. Not sure I’ve seen that. 6 years at Cincy and I understand talent got worse, but so did his defense. I like the thought of changing defenses depending on the game…but do the Colts have the players either to pull that off?

13. IU basketball is number one in the country for the most overpaid players! If college players want to get paid, then earn it! They should have their NIL check reduced. Woodson should be honorable and return his salary and quit! He has not earned a single dollar this year. Or he can act like he cares and fire the sleepy coach on the bench.

15. Love to see Colts get Maxx Crosby in a trade. Colts need tough players in that defense. He would excel in Lou’s defense.

18. Fans always think a team can just go to the store and buy a player or coach. There is no magic coach out there. The Bengals fans have been screaming that Lou needs to be fired, exactly like colts fans have been doing to Bradley.

23. While I was watching I.U giving up uncontested threes, I was also watching Utah struggle to score 40 points against U of H I would love to see Sampson back at I.U.
