  2. AGREE Coach! The Padres couldn't pay Jurickson 14M for three years. Still, I was hoping he would return. Regardless, the Padres need a quality left fielder and need to replace 24 HR's and 85 RBI's. I will understand if they have to TRADE Luis Arraez and his 14M salary. They must keep Cease and King if they hope to contend for a playoff spot in 2025.

  3. I can see Tatis asking for a trade to Atlanta if ownership lawsuit becomes a mess! He will get to play with Profar. Atlanta will take on his contract and send a boat load of prospects

  4. The problem is they are losing every FA they had AND they have to cut payroll by around 30M if Kevin Acee is correct. They are going to have to trade 2 of Arraez, Cease, or Suarez just to get near that number. Cease you can get the most for but then your putting a massive hole at SP2 that you hope to fill with a lesser player in the trade. Losing Scott and Suarez in the same offseason would make the bullpen take a massive downgrade. Trading Arraez your getting rid of a good bat and have already lost Profar, Higgy, Kim, Solano, Diaz, and Peralta. I think their window has slammed shut.
