10. I don't have hate for Russ. While I do think he holds onto the ball too long, I don't understand why we don't have some kind of checkdown he can throw to so he doesn't take sacks. Our checkdowns worked in the first Cincy game where our RBs would would sit on a curl 4-5 yard deep in the middle. Dan Moore is the definition of inconsistent, but he looks elite compared to Broderick Jones. I'm not sure if he just isn't good on the right side of the line, but Troy Fautanu getting injured surely doesn't help. I think the Steelers are gonna let Najee go. I know this last part is going to bug the heck out of people, but I want Mike Tomlin gone. I have been wanting him gone since the 2018 collapse where the Steelers were a soap opera every single week. Since then we've either sucked at the beginning of the season and somehow start rattling off wins at the end of the season to miss the playoffs ruining draft position or starting off great like in 2020, 2023, and 2024 only to collapse at the end of the season and get assblasted by a real time in the Wild card. Not having losing seasons is great, but being good but never good enough is incredibly frustrating especially when we look like complete jobbers to teams like the Bengals, Eagles, Bills, and the Chiefs. Now we are getting bested by the Ravens.

19. WE GAVE RUSS A HUGE CHANCE, and it wasn't good enough to sign him long term as QB1 (PERIOD! THE END!). We NEEDED a QB that can execute behind a weak offensive line!, not a spokesperson. Time for Mike T to take his son Russ and his friend Art and leave town. Sure Russ, you can stay, as second or third string QB (where you clearly belong) for about the league minimum salary, sure – we'd love to have you in that role.

23. I like Russ he seems like a good guy but it’s funny how any team he goes too people wanna blame the o line for his struggles. His whole career he has given up so many sacks every year regardless of o line. Other qbs come in with the same o line and don’t take nearly as many sacks. He gets bad o line play because they never know where he’s at on the field because he always leaves clean pockets and hold on to the ball wayyyy too long. He runs into sacks ALOT.

24. Like the guy, but i dont think he is a good fit at this point. Would cost too much to not win a SB. Get rid of GP and resign Naj, keep justin and draft a young guy, and either pay a top WR that has a good attitude, or draft one and sign a solid vet.

Steelers had so much excitement at the beginning of the year then Russ took over and it got stale quick. No offense to Russ I just don't see him being our future so let's move on.
