13. “Returned to New Jersey” is dangerous phrasing, assuming he’s been in Philly with the team.

    Usually that language implies a guy is leaving a road trip unexpectedly because the team can’t wait until the scheduled return for further testing.

    In our case, it may just mean he drove 40 mins back to team facilities to get looked at today and will watch the game from his couch instead of the team suite.

20. I’m thinking he traveled to Philly with the team thinking it would feel better enough by today to play and it did indeed *not* feel better enough so off he goes for the imaging. Still hoping it’s nothing too serious and maybe he’ll feel better by the end of the week. It sucks, he is the heart and soul of the team. They better pull it together for him. Why is he always so targeted by players? The team this year has shown more of a response to that stuff so I’m hoping there is some pay back when they play Montreal again.
