1. I say we trade for deaaron fox and Banchero and Wagner can also work off the ball when he has the rock but he is a steady 20-25

2. Thanks again for this breakdown. You pulled on my momma heartstrings. These guys are so young and it’s hard watching them struggle. I can’t speak for all fans but I believe they will find their groove and turn all this around 💙

All that talk in the preseason … but who didn’t regress individually on this roster … I can’t find one player who didn’t regress except for Franz maybe P5 everybody else is a dud … after concern about shooting last year whom put in the work in the offseason and took at jump in % this year …. Im a consumer and I feel like I’ve been sold a complete lie by the whole roster

4. Belief in making shots WTH? These pros this team can’t shoot. Especially with injuries. Howard/Houston can theoretically shoot but they haven’t proven it

5. Jett hit back to back 3's and they never looked for him again.

6. Something is wrong with Paolo. It almost looks like if they should put the ball in Franz hands more. They can turn it around. But Paolo has to be him. I feel Paolo will rise to the occasion.

7. Need to add 3 PT shooting. Offense dies when teams pack the paint.

8. The excuse gotta stop with then being young. Look at okc now, theyre even younger. Giannis was only 26 when he won the championship and multiple mvps.

9. JI and Caleb should realize they should not shoot 3s.

10. Jalen Suggs now realizes he made a mistake by signing his new contract for 30mil. The Magic is falling down the cliff after he got hurt. He should have signed for 40 mil after this slump.

11. Our biggest issue right now is rotations. Dell, JI, and Houston in a combination of any 2 should not be on the floor together. 2 non shooters on the floor at 1 time kills any driving lane we have and without Goga that can properly run high low with one of the other bigs it just causes a logjam. Paolo and AB need to learn to work off one another better AB need to match Paolo aggression and Paolo needs to slow down at times for him. These 2 can get the offense better until we are full strength or make a trade.

12. Besides seeing Franz back last night the only other bright spot this game was watching ANFERNEE SIMONS! you’re telling me this guy can allegedly be had relatively cheap, they shouldn’t have let him get on the bus after last nights game. He fixes so much of what we need.

13. Suggs really is the heart of this team, its not a coincidence he went down and everyone else hit a slump

14. this is the most energy and disappointment I’ve heard you do on a break now. I felt your frustration. is anybody gonna call out Paolo for getting frustrated when he misses a shot or gets a turn over and we see him beating himself up, that is very contagious and I feel like this is why the other players have lost their confidence. I love this kid and I think he just got to keep pushing and not beat himself up

17. We all know the offense struggles …so why always walk the ball up and let the defense set up… Really it's a coaching issue.. Mosley a great defensive coach but know offense wt so ever.. doc rivers can coach a team without much talent and make the overachieve but can't coach talented players… Mosley might be the same.. its no way a team with 2 players who can average 25 a game should struggle to score like the magic does

18. Paolo was really looking terrible. I think the offense runs better with Franz being the main ballhandler.

19. At the end of the day, each NBA player must have the 3 basic offensive skills: Dribble, Pass, Shoot. Not saying that every player needs to excel in all three, but they also cannot be absolutely dreadful in any of them. Well, we have way to many “broken players”…meaning the are absolutely dreadful in at least one of these basic skills. We keep drafting and “developing” broomsticks…so here we are…

I I think they just need the chemistry to gel back up and they'll be fine I believe it's just a chemistry issue because remember after a paolo went down they lost four in a row and everybody was like down in the dumps but then they took off so I believe within the next 10 games theyre gonna fly

It shows how important suggs is.. even without much scoring some nights he brings a level of energy that is contagious throughout the team, the arena, etc. When he gets pumped and he's out their doing what he does its really energies the team.. another thing is mo wagner energy in that second unit. Both our energy guys are out.

23. Also the team dynamics were totally different from when it was franz leading to now with paolo. First off, franz had the entire healthy team of guys he played with for 3yrs along side him vs paolo coming back to an injury riddled team with guys in the starting lineup he's never shared the court with. That includes 3rd string guys, a d-league guy, a rookie, and a guy who is just on the roster to fill a spot. Of course the team franz had would do better. Also, our second unit was always productive and would get us back in games if the first unit was losing. Mo wagner was a big part of that. He was the league leading bench player in scoring.
