Gonna be a long offseason

  1. There are not a lot of other teams where he could go and be the unrivaled #1 starter right now.

  2. I’d happily take Abdul Carter and Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers was a very good qb the second half of last year. His season long stats were also better than Matt stafford

  3. I’ll hang his Jersey alongside other former Titans legends like Adrian Peterson, Andre Johnson, Randy Moss, and Julio Jones.

  4. Actually, don’t hate the idea of taking Rogers if we’re going to draft a quarterback. Signing him with no future plan makes no sense. But if we were to draft one of these two guys, I don’t think it would be the worst idea to have them sit and learn while they get ready

  5. He‘ll get creamed here. Nothing more worse than OL issues with a guy with cinder block feet

  6. Get Abdul carter, be pretty bad next yr and try and trade our first round pick next yr for the #1 assuming we don’t already get it and draft Manning next yr

  7. I can’t root for someone as much of as asshole as Rodgers is. I pray he goes somewhere else.

That’s not to mention that he hasn’t had above average QB play in, what, 3 years? 4? He’s 1000 years old, he sucks, and he’s an asshole. That’s a trifecta of no for me

  8. if rodgers and adams want to take team friendly deals, i would be interested as long as he knows upfront we are drafting a QB this year or next. i don’t want the guarantees to be high for rodgers so we can cut him if hes trash….

  9. if we don’t draft a QB, and plays super cheap, i dont hate it.

We’re not competetive next year, guys. I want us to draft a QB this year, but if we skip the QB in this draft, Rodgers is a fine enough bridge while we assemble talent elsewhere. Again, assuming he plays cheap and with no long-term commitment.

  10. I initially liked the idea of Rogers a couple weeks ago, he certainly has the experience and could litmus test Levis. The end conclusion though was he too expensive to bridge while Titans find a younger replacement, and I doubt he would consider it respectable to take a lesser contract specifically one where he didn’t have control of trade. He just isn’t a fit on contract grounds, and lets be honest Titans gave up even more sacks this last season. Can he really take those hits, and would we be risking way to much? I like his stats, but there is just too much that can go wrong taking him.

I don’t see him or the Jets dropping the 1 year left on the contract. He would really only consider a transfer if there was a new contract of similar terms, and Jets don’t exactly have a replacement so unless they find some heck of a trade and Titans give premium then it isn’t really a consideration. I get the feeling his attitude is more to retirement when he said “if” he can’t get the right contract.

  11. True Titan fashion, go get a legend well after there prime… but in hindsight, could be good for Will!

  12. I don’t hate it. He’s a guy that can mentor the new kid or if the Titans decide to trade and not take a QB, he’s a really good one year bridge player.

  13. Oh good another year to waste. Plus I’m sure we’ll have to shell out to trade for davante adams and allen lazard. Please just shoot me now

  14. Honestly Rodgers is probably the best bridge option. He would be truly be a bridge and be a 1 year deal. Darnold and Kirk would cost more imo

  15. I have stuck with the Titans through everything but this would be a bridge too far to bring in a right wing vaccine conspiracy nut that should be BANNED from the NFL for lying about getting the COVID vaccine!!!

  16. I hate Rodgers, but I don’t mind dealing with him for a year, on the condition that we draft a QB to sit behind him. Signing him with no plan for the future is just plain stupid.

  17. Given the abilities of our O-line, Rodgers to TEN would be great news for anyone wanting to see Aaron Rodgers get beat the fuck up every Sunday.

  18. Mina Kimes is an idiot. She just repeats what other insiders say. Doesn’t really bring anything new to the conversation
