1. Without offensive play makers the defense will be on the field to long again. Too soon to say for sure. They do need some defensive players but not all defense. Thank you DK and Chris Great J1Q funny

3. Wide Receivers ? We barely have narrow deceivers.. GP, CA, PF, and then what? What defense in the NFL can't cover 3 guys?… Warren was grossly underutilized as a pass catcher… Also why is everyone going 20+yards downfield ? Multiple teams have won multiple Superbowls using the dink and dunk gameplan. (Playoff games against us)… Draw the Defense in, then take a shot. It's Madden 101.. Try playing Madden on All Madden just chucking it deep and running laterally… You lose… Wah Wah Wah… If Trash AI can beat it, do you believe actual humans can't?

4. Seen a stat today that Mahomes has only lost 26 games 26!! I'm starting to feel like everything you do as a team has to be geared towards stopping him if that's even possible.

5. Omar has quite a job to do yet again this off-season. We really need a proven WR commodity (not a fossil of one), make a decision on George (find a possible replacement?), figure out your Pat and Najee decisions, find a QB, not to mention holes in the secondary and filling DL positions to prepare for Cam's eventual retirement. This should be an interesting 6-7 months.

   The return on investment of a defensive line player that can get them off the field gives the offense more possessions per game, as well limiting points against.

   Having a second receiver who can get open will only scores touchdowns, and does not keep the defense off the field to rest. As soon as we face a playoff caliber offense, that fatigue will start to change games in the middle of the third quarter.

   The run game controls the clock more than the passing game, and without the second wide receiver — even above average ball carriers like Harris and Warren can’t introduce enough uncertainty to stymie and tire opponent defenses.

   It's the only way to change the point differential.

    The best strategy is to build the team to the best of your ability so that when you get the next franchise qb, he just slides in and you can contend for a Super Bowl on a rookie qb contract.

    The tried and true strategy of team building at the pro level is to build from the inside out. I believe that is what they are trying to do.

22. Did the Steelers become the Pirates overnight? They sign cheap players, their best RB is an UDFA, their projected starting QB in 2025 only cost them a 6th rd pick and the 24 starter cost what, a million dollars? O line is mostly players on rookie deals.

24. Mike Tomlin needs to get an experience QB Whisperer, and an experienced Draft Whisperer for the offensive side. Last year, instead of drafting a big, fast outside receiver they took a shorter, smaller slot receiver that (evidently) is injury-prone. While i'm at it, I want to suggest trading George Pickens. Pickens doesn't seem to be volunteer.

You’re right, they need to help Fields, but a rookie isn’t that, especially this year. And also Cam gets older every year, and whether it’s scheme or not, Keanu has a whopping 2 sacks in 2 years. And by the way, we have to play Derrick Henry at least two more times next year…

    He adds another big target as well as a blocker we can keep 2 TEs on the field on nearly every down.

    Also he adds the element of being a dynamic runner out of the backfield. The trickery that could be imployed especially if Fields is the QB1 would add much needed wrinkles to a completely unimaginative offense would be a breath of fresh air.

    He's basically Taysom Hill if he were a 1st round talent. If we are taking skill players early he's the only one I want.

41. By the same token, Russ didn't have the offensive support he needed either. Everyone is ready to give up on him without so much as knowing what he is looking for dollar wise to sign again. If he is retained , make it a competition again in camp.
