Make of this what you will

  1. Be happy to move him just to save cash at this point, his stock will probably only fall after this upcoming year.

Guessing no chance a deal would involve Casas

  2. Bregman holding up everything, hopefully the Sox are tired of waiting and pull the trigger on Arenado.

  3. Media has been connecting Arenado to the Red Sox for a month.

Wake me when we get more than rumors.

  4. Boston seems like a good fit for him, same as Houston. He needs somewhere with a short porch in LF because his warning track power sure as hell doesn’t play at Busch. He could hit a ton of doubles at Fenway.

  5. I’d rather keep him. He wants to be here. The team still needs veteran players. On paper they’re not that much worse than last year. Let him play and reevaluate around the deadline. If he’s picked it back up he may get you more than just a salary dump.
