1. Every team needs a little ball of hate, but Marchy isn't for the Oilers. They need goalies.🤷

2. He's not going – he's already on record I think saying he hates the weather up there.

4. Marchand will not go to Edmonton and tarnish his career-long legacy in Boston.

   Maybe if he hadn't won a cup yet, and maybe pulled a Ray Bourque, asking for a trade to a contender? However, he has his cups. His legacy now, will remain in Boston, or he will retire.

   Some players are simply like that. Sidney Crosby is another, Alex Ovechkin, etc. They have their cups, and now, it's about legacy with the one organization they've been with their entire careers.

   Leaving at this point, would be a stain on that, no matter the team.

7. Yea you can’t say the goalie discussion is hard to talk about if you’ve been to watch a game skinners lateral movement is terrible, he’s like 2-9 against the top teams in the league. Think we have a chance when teams have hellybuck, Thompson, bobrovsky, hell even Kuemper? We need a goalie upgrade or we aren’t getting past the 2nd round

11. BIG SPLASH.. BRAD MARCHAND would be that!!! I would 💯 try and get him if he was available. Maybe we see mcdavid and him on a line together during 4 nations… but I feel oilers will make a big trade

12. Cam nailed exactly how I felt about the goaltending. It's been fine but in an ideal world we would upgrade, we just don't see an obvious upgrade on the market.

13. I keep coming back to the idea that Stan Bowman does a deal for Seth Jones and the Hawks retain salary. Not going to happen but man that would be comical. 😄

16. One of the leagues most hated players on one of the leagues most hated teams with the most insufferable fan base in the league….sounds like a fit

17. Not what we need. We need young speed. Teams that load up on old vets never win Cups. We have enough 30plus forwards. Need a Holloway type physical fast with some offensive touch. Playoff grind needs fresh legs that can handle long overtime games. Young guys recover quicker. Marchand hasn't helped Boston win Cups of late.
