Thank goodness he didn't come back to the cardinals
Bregman's defense, agreed but Bregman's bat is on the decline…don't overreach/overpay.
I love the signing now our top pitchers are Skubal, Flaherty, Olson, Jobe, and then the 5 guy can be Mize, Hurter, Manning, or Cobb. Some solid depth at the starting pitching role. Obviously we still need position players but if Olson can return back to before his injury and Jobe looks like a good pitcher we have one of the best starting pitching rotations and a great bullpen all we would need is a solid consistent offense and we could easily be back in the playoffs next offseason.
I think they signed Jack Flaherty because they now that We won’t Get Bregman. I hope I’m wrong and he comes here. But I have a sneaky suspicion that he will be a Red Sox or remain a Houston Astro. I don’t know. 🤷♂️
