  2. So happy they got that win. It’s kind of amazing that this team has played as inconsistently as it has since January and is still in a solid playoff spot, up 8 points on the closest team and only 2 points back of 2nd place. I hope they can find their game *consistently* after the break.
    Fun fact about the Super Bowl today. I know there are not a lot of Eagles fans around these parts but the last two times they made the Super Bowl were also the last two times the Devils made the playoffs. And they are back again, so with that being said, go Devils and go birds! 🦅

  3. It’s still felt like a struggle at times, but they’re trending in the right direction again. Some deadline addition and team getting healthy over the break could really get them going again. This team has potential to outpace Carolina the rest of the way and get home ice. Hope the tournament can spark a guy like Haula too. If he could get going and a deadline 3rd line centre addition would be a huge move to help the goal scoring get to where it should be.

  5. Posted it in the GDT yesterday but apparently got some downvotes — Nemec still looks a bit rough. He played *way* better than on Thursday, but I think the folks who thought we’d be a better d-corps with him on it versus what we had 2 weeks ago are wildly mistaken. Yes he’s young, but we’re on a playoff push and really need steady hands. I hope he can get better a lot faster, assuming Siegs is out awhile.
