Anthony Firkser?
Does Will Compton fit this?
Will Levis. Love the memes, but play has not been good.
Mason Kinsey
Could make a Billy Volek argument here maybe
Also Marcus Mariota
Zach Mettenberger
Vince Young?
Lendale
Justin Hunter
Compton
I might get punched for this take but….
NWI?
I mean he is a perfectly fine player, but the love far outpaces the skill and this is coming from some one that likes him a lot.
Caleb Farley?
Tre McBride or Biren Ealy. You thought it was 9/11 when we cut McBride in particular around here
Kyle Philips
Loved, Bad?
Jake Locker is up there for me. Nothing to dislike about the guy, showed flashes, but was constantly hurt and never did anything.
But for me, it’s Kevin Dyson. I grew up with him, and with the Music City Miracle + almost scoring with a second left in the Super Bowl I have rose colored glasses, but he was the 16th overall pick and had 2,325 career yards. He was not good lol
Edit: also wanted to add that his post playing career as an educator has really been great to see. Seems like an amazing guy and I think this helps push him to “loved”
Jake locker
Zack Mettenbirger
Sam Sloman
I thought Malik Willis at first but I’ll say Caleb Farley. Unquestionably bad player with a ton of bad luck as a player and human but still easy to root for as a person.
This is actually where Mariota fits tbh.
Every veteran WR we have signed in the past few years
Billy Volek has to be the answer
Runny McNumbers
Drew Bennett
Clipboard Jesus
Karl Klug?
Overall most a solid player but not that great when you stack him up against Jurrell Casey or Jeff Simmons.
Tre McBride? Jeremy McNichols?
It’s actually wild to think some fans rate Mariota as “average”
Tyrone Callico
Kevin Dyson
Daren Bates. He never saw much PT but he was the team hype man when we were so good.
This should be mariota
Daren Bates
Joshua Kalu
Racey McMath
As a Texans fan I always like Mariota, in a time where the AFC South was somehow even worse than right now, he was the most entertaining QB in our Division, sure Luck was better, but Luck wasn’t have 88yd TD runs and throwing a touchdown pass to himself
Whoever the Titans draft with their first round pick this year
