>>He said he found out while on facetime with his podcast co host. He got a call from Koby while getting a massage from a Cleveland Cav massage therapist. Said he ended up staying at the massage for like an extra 45 minutes while the massage therapist was bawling bc she felt bad for him.
>> a little sad when he mentions it was a surprise due to all the stuff they accomplished together. Also the podcast co host mentioned the second Niang hung up to take Koby’s call, he googled Niang’s name and the news already had broke.
>> also said it took him a couple days to come to peace with it tbat it wasn’t personal. Said he has to learn how to move to a new place after putting his all into one team then they decided to move on. Just has to learn to build new connections and just focus on basketball.
>> a little more, mentioned how rigorous the physical process is. Him and caris were doing it together, said it took like 4-5 hrs.
>> said he was in a daze for a while esp with all of the travel. But also said he was looking at the roster bc he is a shit talker and had to double check he is good lol
Good dude, great insight to the process and emotions of a trade.
I’m sure he’s a great guy but I’m beyond happy he’s not on this team anymore. 0 impact if his shot isn’t falling
