  1. Stowers did very well with the O's last year. He performed for us. In fact, you said based on his performance, the O's would recall Stowers as soon as they could. But the fact is from jump street, the team had no intention of giving Stowers a real shot. None.

  2. I'm feeling good about Jackson and Grayson having big years. Two of my favourites. I hope we don't give up too much for a 1 year rental of Cease if that trade happens. Very excited for spring training now!

  3. I wouldn't get too excited folks. They're the only team that was told to spend whatever you want to get whoever you want. And then wound up losing talent in the offseason. They didn't gain any. They found a way to lose the best pitcher in baseball. And a guy that hits 40 home runs. And he went to a division rival. We have to look at Anthony Santander now playing for the Blue Jays 14 times a season. Because for some reason they didn't want to pay him. Just like they didn't want to pay Corbin Burns. Just like they never want to pay anybody. Even when they're told to spend money they don't. This team got worse in the off-season there's no candy coating it. I wish I could be excited but when you go to the playoffs finally two years in a row. And you have zero offense. And now you lost the best arm in baseball that got us to the postseason last year. And on top of that you lose a guy that hits 40 home runs. How do you make that up. They're wasting away the few years and the window that they have to grab a world series or two. It's time to look for management that's willing to go get the big arms and the big bats and sign them to healthy contracts. Enough with these 1-year deals for washed up people. That you're just hoping to squeeze one good year out of. I'll admit they've been lucky when it comes to picking the right ones. But that will not win you a championship. I was at the 83 world series I was 10 I never imagined I'd be 51 and still haven't gone back to another. But now there's really no excuse except for bad management. Probably a lot of egos mainly Elias. I hope we have a great season fellas. But realistically when you get worse you're not usually going to win more games.

  4. There's even an article on sports illustrated from Three Days ago talking about how big a failure the Orioles offseason was. Somehow they manage to spend 59% more on the lineup. And added no one worth talking about. Instead of just going and getting a couple of big names. They settled for quantity over quality. It looks like we may officially suck again

  5. @connor think about what you said 32;10. With the O's core, should you EVER be saying "your not sure" that the O's rotation is capable of winning the world series….how can we excuse this off-season? How can we excuse this off-season when we have a great prospect in Mayo, who has no spot and probably never will, that could be used to acquire Cease? I feel like Elias is a genius in the draft room, but not as a GM.

  6. I like, don't love our potential starting pitching rotation. I do love the bullpen though. I think it will be a strength for us this season. Eflin, Grayson, Povich, Sugano, Kremer and Morton. I know, we probably won't use a 6-man rotation.
